Low Sodium Soy Sauce Substitute RecipeLow Sodium Soy Sauce Substitute Recipe
This doesn't taste exactly like the real thing but it is pretty good. 2 Tablespoons No or Low Sodium beef broth or stock 1 Tablespoon red wine vinegar 1 teaspoon Balsamic vinegar 2 teaspoons molasses 1 teaspoon sesame oil Freshly ground black pepper, to taste 1/4 cup boiling water If needed, at the end, add Table Tasty salt substitute, to taste Combine all of the ingredients and let set for about an hour for the flavors to mingle. Use sauce as is, or for a thicker sauce, let simmer to reduce sauce to about 3 Tablespoons (about half). |
